SILVER'S KATHERINE --SOLD--
Katie is a beautiful black mare who has an elegant way of going, but is also a dependable trail horse. We bought her because of her wonderful Silver Design and Final Edition breeding and we have two very nice foals from her. We decided not to do any more breeding when we lost our stallion, so this year we have been riding her. She has turned out to be a gentle, willing horse and would be a good choice for anyone looking for a trail horse. A friend is riding her in a drill team and she does everything asked of her with no hesitation. She clips, loads, bathes and is current on all shots and coggins.
LETHAL POWER
"Dillon" is a beautiful, friendly 3-yr old chestnut gelding who is the first horse to come greet you in the pasture! He has the breeding and potential to be a wonderful show horse, but he is a real “people horse” and would also make a great trail horse if that is what you are looking for. We have had a little ground work done with him, and now he is ready to start the way you want him. He is quick to learn and would be a good winter project. He should be finished and ready to ride in the spring.
A MIDNIGHT LEGEND
"Nellie" is a pretty, black 5-yr old mare who has been ridden on trails for a year and has a nice smooth trail gait. She is average size and not spooky. She crosses water and climbs hills like a seasoned pro. Her great old-time blood lines (Shaker's Shocker and Gold Coin) would make her a wonderful brood mare, but she will also be a fine pleasure horse. Like all our horses, she is current on shots and coggins.
THE AFTERMATH
This yearling colt is just the right age to bond with you and then start under saddle next year. He was foaled on our farm and is a very friendly gelding who is easy to work with. We are offering him for sale now because we have too many young horses to work next year. His dam is Silver's Katherine (above) who has a wonderful gait, so we would expect him also to be a smooth-riding horse. He is up to date on shots and worming.
