The Aftermath Farm is located in the rolling hills of northwest Illinois, near Galena, IL. On our 164 acres of timber and cropland we raise hay, several German Shorthaired Pointers, and about 20 Tennessee Walking Horses. We pride ourselves on careful breeding practices and hands-on treatment of our young dogs and horses.

Our first Tennessee Walking Horse came to the farm in 1988 and was a smooth-riding black roan mare named Hanna. She was followed soon after by Lauri, a fine trail horse with show potential. Both horses have provided us with some of our finest foals. In 1997 we added our breeding stallion, Coin's Living Legend, a direct son of Pride's Gold Coin. A very gentle, former built-up show horse, he gave us many beautiful, well-mannered foals. We lost him in 2009 as a result of an accident on the ice, but we still have a a few of his young offspring. Most of them have been started under saddle or are ready to begin training.
German Shorthaired Pointers have been in our family since 1962, both as hunting dogs and pets. Jake, our stud dog, has very impressive bloodlines from Germany and the U.S.. His background includes many field champions and Kleeman Seiger dogs. He was born in 1997 and is kept company by four females ranging in age from 2 to 8 years.
